About Us
Our company, PT Yildirim Berkah Abadi, established in 2024, collaborates with our partner in Türkiye, which continues its R&D and breeding activities in the Kumluca district of Antalya.
There are two main reasons for choosing Kumluca as our base. First, Kumluca is known as the capital of greenhouse farming in Türkiye. Second, greenhouse farming here occurs on land ranging from 0 to 700 meters in altitude. This range in topography results in varied climates and soil richness, providing us with the unique opportunity to test and develop plant varieties suitable for diverse climates and soils.
Our partner company’s breeding activities focus exclusively on tomato, eggplant, cucumber, and melon species. We limit our focus to these species for two reasons: first, success is more attainable when specializing in familiar crops; second, we aspire to become a global leader in the species on which we concentrate our breeding efforts.
Despite our young age, our partner’s name is already etched in global seed history thanks to pioneering achievements, which testify to our focused strategy.
